Diani Beachalets

Further along on the beach road to the south in Diani lie the Diani Beachalets. The Beachalets are self-contained cottages, right on the beach, in a very beautiful setting. You can stay there at a very reasonable price, if you are not fussy and don´t need luxury. The place used to be run by my mum and step-dad until my mum passed away in 2001. My step-dad still lives nearby and i visit him regularly.

Diani Beachalets offer a peaceful place in scenic surroundings.

Matano, the worker of my step-dad, checks out my guitar, while I check out his palmwine.

Tanja relaxing in the sun.

The beach just below the Beachalets is superb.

These guys are a nuisance. Even if you feel sorry for them, don´t get yourselves involved with the beach-boys. More often than not you will get ripped off in one way or another!

Having a barbeque at my step-dad´s place. Scheel, his dog, knows something "is cooking".

Roger, the fish vendor, sells his fish right at your door. And he prepares it ready for cooking, too.

And you can buy your fruits and vegetables at your door for fair prices.
